No synthetic fragrance. No parabens. No artificial colour. The blue is the ingredient.

The Formula

USP-Grade Methylene Blue

The same purity specification as the Alpiniå blü capsule range — applied topically. USP-grade means independently verified to meet United States Pharmacopeia purity standards. Not cosmetic grade. Not industrial grade. The cleanest specification available in a cold-process bar. The natural blue colour of this soap comes entirely from the methylene blue in the formula. No dye. No colourant. The blue is the ingredient.

Sea Moss — Chondrus Crispus, St. Lucia

Hand-harvested golden wildcrafted sea moss from a family source in St. Lucia — not from a commercial bulk supplier. Rich in iodine, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. In a cold-process bar, sea moss contributes mineral content and a naturally smooth lather that feels different from a standard olive oil soap.

Grass-Fed Beef Tallow

One of the oldest soap-making fats in history. Its fatty acid profile closely mirrors the sebum naturally produced by human skin — predominantly oleic, palmitic, and stearic acid. In a cold-process formula, tallow produces a hard, long-lasting bar with a dense, creamy lather that olive oil alone cannot achieve.

What to Expect

• ✔ Natural blue colour — from USP-grade methylene blue, not dye. Intensity may vary slightly between batches.
• ✔ Faint temporary tint on first use — fades quickly with rinsing. Normal with any methylene blue topical.
• ✔ May leave a faint blue tint on white flannels — washes out. Store on a dry soap dish, not in standing water.
• ✔ Cold-process glycerin retained — commercial soaps extract glycerin and sell it separately. Cold-process bars keep it.
